Shadow is a black and red Hedgehog who is Sonic's rival. He is almost as fast as Sonic is.
He is known for using caos emeralds in a technique called chaos control. He wears hover shoes and gold rings around his ankles, He also wears white gloves and gold rings around his wrists.
Shadows first appearance was in sonic X the pilot episode. His latest appearance is in Mario and Sonic at the sochi 2014 Olympics winter games
